It has been awhile since I’ve brought you up to speed on Project #NewGuyInTown.  Well, it’s pretty much done. And it’s pretty much awesome.

Soon, I will have lots of purdy professional pics to share with you (Stay Tuned!), but in the meantime, I want to share a fun lil update.

If you recall, his dining room had a very strange, 1990s-esqe built in goin’ on with some hideous glass shelves. Baughman Before 5I hated it and I eventually convinced him that he hated it as well. We went back and forth on various ideas on what to do with the space and finally decided on the most obvious option of all.

A shrine to his Grandfather’s acustic guitar.

I mean, duh.  What else would we have done?

Now, I have to brag, just a little, on Mr. New Guy himself. He has spent many a weekends DIYing himself silly, and with his own two hands created this…Rob GuitarI love it!

I visualize him having one-too-many at a dinners then busting that baby out to serenade his friends. From now on I think everyone should have musical instruments displayed in their dining room for impromptu jam sessions.
